The "Beanery"     History

Carol  and  Jeff  Fisher  lived  in Cleveland Heights,  Ohio  for  twenty years and always dreamed of living at the beach.  Finally, in 2006 they made the  move  to  Flagler Beach — their Paradise Found.

    Kick back at the Beanery!

On  July 4, 2008  they  opened  the BeachHouse Beanery, with the vision
of it becoming a friendly meeting place for locals and  travelers.

They have reveled in  getting  to know the  local residents,  connecting  with  visitors from all over the world, and developing a destination spot in  Flagler Beach.

When they arrived in Flagler Beach, Jeff was continuing in the real-estate investment and management field, in which he had been involved while in Ohio, and Carol worked at a resort in Daytona Beach.  Real estate's nose dive and Carol’s desire to work closer to home, becoming a part of the local community, lead them on a search.  It culminated when they saw the need for a local coffee house, and a charming old home with ocean views available for rent, and the rest (as they say) is history . . . . Until October, 2012 when we moved to our Scenic Highway A1A, location with an ocean view.

    Meet Jeff and Carol

Wait, there’s more!
Carol and Jeff also own and manage two fully-furnished vacation homes available for rent in Flagler Beach. These two vacation homes have provided guests many memorable vacations here.  Returning guests are an indication that their commitment to customer service extends beyond the counter of the BeachHouse Beanery."

Why we Love Flagler Beach

"Like many people we talk to, we happened on Flagler Beach by accident, and never left!

We love the small town atmosphere, knowing  our  neighbors  and our customers by name.  We love being able to see that magnificent Atlantic ocean, with its “practically private” beaches.  We love being able to ride a scooter or bicycle to work.

    Join us!

We  love  the  community  involvement.  We love the lack of traffic lights, high rise buildings, chain stores.

As  a  sign  in  the  coffee  house declares 'Life is All About How You Handle Plan "B".'"

    The Moms

Flagler Beach can offer a great place for  plan "B" -  living the dream.

Music, food, the ocean and good friends!

Carol  sends  out  a  weekly  email newsletter  informing  people  about what's happening in the Beanery, and
